Ridgefield High School Hockey Club Tees Up Golf Fundraiser

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- The Ridgefield High School Boys Hockey Booster Club will trade hockey sticks for golf clubs with its annual Tiger Tee Off Golf Outing.

The tournament will tee off at 12:15 p.m. June 10 at the Ridgefield Golf Club, 545 Ridgebury Road. Players at all levels are welcomed to participate for the event that helps fund items such as equipment and uniforms.

The afternoon begins with lunch before a shot gun start at 1 p.m. A post-play cocktail party will follow the event in the newly-renovated DHLY club house.

The organization will award prizes for longest drive and the top finishers. The event will also feature a raffle and Swag Bags for all players.

Those who cannot play in the tournament are encouraged to sponsor a hole or attend the post-play cocktail party.

A rain date is scheduled for June 15.
